Welcome to the ‘Young Bhutan” website. To all the visitors, this website belongs you, to all the young Bhutanese across the country. If you want to learn, create, share your ideas and concerns this is the place to be.

Young Bhutan is a dynamic website for the youth. It is officially launched on 21st February, 2010 by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. Starting this year 21st February will be observed as the “National Education Day”. This day also coincides with the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of the Our Beloved King.


Young Bhutan is very youth friendly and aspires to reach out to all the young people. This is a platform for the youth to learn, share and discuss. This website has several sections in it:
□ Information covering areas on education, career, job search skills
□ Creative section covering music and lyrics
□ Help and support : Online counselling: This would be completely confidential with sessions and issues answered by professional counselors.Discussion forum
□ Counsellor education : For school counselors to initiate professional discussions and access to information on reading materials.
